Financial Planning

At PKS, our financial planning process is designed to incorporate an objective perspective on your current financial situation and organize a plan of action to help you achieve your goals and objectives.

Our Financial Planning Process

Initial Meeting / Discovery

We begin each relationship with a confidential meeting to help us gain a better understanding of your specific needs and objectives. We will discuss your current financial situation, your specific goals and any challenges you may face as you work toward those goals.

Develop Your Financial Goals

Once we have an understanding of your current financial landscape, our next step is to understand your priorities and goals. During this part of the process it is also necessary to gather relevant records, account numbers, etc.

Complete an analysis

During this step, we will review your existing documents, insurance policies and portfolio holdings. We will identify what is currently working and what opportunities there are for improvement. We will build a financial plan tailored to your current situation and focused on achieving your goals.

Provide recommendations

At this stage of the planning process, we present our specific recommendations on how to improve your portfolio. We discuss with you the potential impact of any changes and how we believe our recommendations will help you achieve your goals.

Implement your financial action plan

After there is an agreed upon course of action, we seamlessly integrate all aspects of the financial plan.

Review, update, and monitor the plan

Because your needs and objectives change over time, we regularly review, update, and monitor your plan. We regularly communicate any changes that may impact your plan and we proactively make changes to help ensure your plan continues to help you achieve your objectives.
