PKS Investment Advisors LLC is pleased to announce Steven M. James has joined the firm as an Investment Advisor Associate in our Salisbury, MD office. Steven brings a strong skill set consisting of client service and communication, trade recommendations and execution, and retirement plans knowledge from his previous work experience at the Baltimore-based investment management firm T. Rowe Price where he received several awards for exemplary achievement and quality service. Originally from Ellicott City, MD, Steven is a 2011 graduate of Salisbury University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and is investment and securities licensed as a registered investment advisor.
As an Investment Advisor Associate Steven will work closely with the Firm’s Financial Planners and Investment Advisors to develop investment policies, monitor clients’ asset allocations, rebalancing portfolios and recommending trades, monitoring cash balances for investment opportunities and assisting with the creation of financial plans. Additionally, he will assist with employer sponsored retirement plans including maintenance, working with new retirement plan enrollees and coordinating with plan sponsors.
Steven and his wife Leigh live in Delmar, MD and are excited to have returned to the Eastern Shore after living in the Baltimore area for the last three years.
